Stacking silver bullion: my journey from hobby to obsession

I started my journey of stacking silver bullion roughly seven years ago. When I began, the hobby was fairly inexpensive. Even at low bullion prices, premiums made me happy. American Silver Eagles were my first and only choice. I watched a few YouTube videos that featured online shops. Initially, I used APMEX.

After that, I checked other sites and found premiums around $8. Three years later, COVID-19 scarcity pushed premiums over $12. Now I can’t find prized bullion coins with premiums under $18 for Eagles. The price per coin literally doubled. Are you seeking other inflation hedging hard assets? If so, what have you come across?
